Fien Hermans

Fien Hermans graduated in 2020 as a physiotherapist specialised in internal disorders from Ghent University. She then spent four years as a researcher in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Ghent University, focusing on the impact of acute exacerbations and training on extra-respiratory symptoms in individuals with COPD. In March 2025, she joined the End-of-Life-Care research team as a data collector. Fien is driven by a commitment to socially relevant topics and continues to pursue this ambition in her current role.
